FARM BUREAU INSURANCE EXPANDS PARTNERSHIP WITH SCHSL

Corporate support of academics and athletics continues to grow during pandemic

 Columbia, SC- The partnership between South Carolina Farm Bureau Insurance and the South Carolina High School League continues to grow.  The SCFBI is pleased to partner with the SCHSL in celebrating the pursuit of 2020-21 state championships. The sponsorship of postseason brackets and the #FullCoverageScoreboard will expand to include volleyball as well as football. With the SCHSL volleyball playoffs set to get underway, Farm Bureau Insurance is excited to present the brackets for all five classifications at SCHSL.org and will also provide updates on all postseason match-ups via the #FullCoverageScoreboard on the SCHSL’s social media accounts.  Fans are encouraged to follow along on Twitter at @SCHSL for up-to-the-minute results throughout the postseason all the way to the state championships.

“Having this type of support from such a reputable business partner means the world to our membership for so many reasons. One being this is a year of change, and unfortunately, some change has not been favorable to high school athletics. Having the positive outlook and contributions from SCFBI has enhanced our fall calendar immensely. Including the female athletes who comprise our volleyball population is a much-needed aspect of this partnership,” states Commissioner Jerome Singleton.

For the second consecutive year, SC Farm Bureau Insurance will deliver full coverage of the SCHSL football playoffs, starting with the unveiling of the brackets and leading all the way to the Weekend of Champions on December 4th and 5th. The newest addition to this partnership is a commemorative t-shirt featuring a one-of-a-kind design that will incorporate all 80 schools that qualify for the postseason. Those t-shirts will be given away via a virtual t-shirt toss throughout the playoffs to followers of @SCHSL Twitter.

When state champions are crowned in both volleyball and football, Farm Bureau Insurance will once again present keepsakes to each state champion school featuring the bracket for their unique path to the title.
